Shutdown Options

 
This is main program window. From this screen you can use all the power of the program's features.

  • Action group Is used for a choice of shutdown type
Shutdown Type
Description
Force Shutdown
Specifies whether applications with unsaved changes are to be forcibly closed. If this parameter is selected, these applications are closed. If this parameter is not selected, a dialog box is displayed prompting the user to close the applications. System Will Be Shutdown.
Normal Shutdown
If this parameter is used, a dialog box is displayed prompting the user to close the applications. After saving user's data, System Will Be Shutdown.
Force Restart
Specifies whether applications with unsaved changes are to be forcibly closed. If this parameter is selected, such applications are closed. If this parameter is not selected, a dialog box is displayed prompting the user to close the applications. System Will Be Restarted.
Normal Restart
If this parameter is selected, a dialog box is displayed prompting the user to close the applications. System Will Be Restarted.
Log Off
If this parameter is not selected, a dialog box is displayed prompting the user to close the applications. Current User Will Be Logged Off!
  • Advanced Options allows to set up some additional parameters of the program
Option
Description
Start With Windows
Permits to the program to start with Windows automatically. If this checkbox is not marked, you should start the program manually. If the program is not started, the external events are not processed.
Enable Power Off
Permits power-off for computers, which support it. Some old systems do not support a programmed power-off. In this case it is not necessary to choose power-off.
Activate Smart Shutdown®
Permits use of processing of external events after start of the program.
NOTE: this option is not available in "Lite" version. You can download full-featured version for free from our company site.
Hook Windows Shutdown Message
Permits program to associate a Force Down with the shutdown of the system. At the beginning of shutdown the Force Down is run instead of the normal shutdown process. You can choose force, normal shutdown or log off and start it from the program.
Accelerate Shutdown Automatically

Allows to the program automatically to detect a type of shutdown (shutdown or restart) and to accelerate it without a request from the user. If this option is selected, the program will not show the window with the request about a type of shutdown.
NOTE: this option is not available in "Lite" version. You can download full-featured version for free from our company site.

Play Sound Before Shutdown
Permits playing a sound file before the beginning shutdown. The file can be chosen using the button
  • Shutdown Now! - Immediately starts a shutdown of the chosen type.
