What is Major Upgrades?

In general, all MAJOR UPGRADES (i.e., 1.0, 2.0, x.0, etc.) require full re-registration. However, depending on the type of program, customers may not be charged for MAJOR UPGRADES. A MAJOR UPGRADE is defined as a 25% or more change in a program's code. This change can be made by either adding new code or re-writing old code. All major upgrades significantly modify the program's function or interface or both.
