HSLAB Shutdown Folder

ID #1032

Windows me rundll32 not responding

1) open system.ini
2) look for a line similiar to "SCRNSAVE.EXE=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\3DTEXT~1.SCR"
3) make that "SCRNSAVE.EXE="
4) Restart the computer
5) Your screen saver should be disabled.

However, my guess is that the problem is not that you can't open the display settings,
but that the computer is on its way out... you might want to start running diagnostic
programs now as opposed to waiting until the computer won't load.

As you're trying to run Scandisk, you're on the right path... :)
